Training course at Blackruthven 1st & 2nd October 2022

9 trainees attended the 2 day course, 3 ladies and six gents with the furthest coming from Kent. Martin Tyler was the instructor for the weekend.

The day began with the trainees stripping back a 10 metre freestanding wall and getting the stones in order for rebuilding.

A section of the wall was to be heightened meaning a new trench was required.

The trainees grasped the basic concepts and worked well putting them into practise.

Fortunately, the good weather lasted throughout the weekend.

The foundations were laid and good progress was made on the wall.

The end result was a another 10m section of rebuilt wall that the trainees should be proud of.
