Dry Stone Walling Taster Day

Are you interested in dry stone walling? Would you like to learn how to ensure a dry stone wall stands for many years? 

The Central Scotland Branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association is running Taster Day on Saturday 30th August at Conon House, Redford DD11 2QZ. (See below for directions.)

Please note this is not an official training course, but simply a taster day. There will however be qualified dykers on hand to help you.

 The cost for the day is £40, payable on the day. Numbers will need to be limited, so please send a note of your name and contact details if you are interested.

All participants must be 18 or over, wear stout boots, preferably with a steel toecap and bring work gloves. 

Directions - Conon House is on the south side of Redford. The road end is located between 20 and 40 mph road signs. Last left as you leave Redford southbound, first right as you enter Redford northbound. White sign at road end ‘Conon House’ along with a few others.
