Dry Stone Walling Taster Day
Are you interested in dry stone walling? Would you like to learn how to ensure a dry stone wall stands for many years?
The Central Scotland Branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association is running Taster Day on Saturday 19th April at Little Trochry farm, a small scale vegetable farm on the outskirts of Dunkeld. The farm is 3 miles from the A9 on the A822 road to Amulree.
Please note this is not an official training course, but simply a taster day. There will however be qualified dykers on hand to help you.
The cost for the day is £40, payable on the day. Numbers will need to be limited, so please send a note of your name and contact details if you are interested.
Either contact us via this website contact@csdswa.org.uk or via the Farm Shop website VEG@LITTLETROCHRY.CO.UK
Iain and Kirsten at the farm shop will be our hosts for the day and will provide refreshments, shelter and loo facilities.
All participants must be 18 or over, wear stout boots, preferably with a steel toecap and bring work gloves.
