Good news for the year ahead

Although we are as yet uncertain as to when we will be able to begin offering training courses and member’s practice days this year, opportunities for training should be available at our new training and testing site at Merryhill Steading near Rosyth. This was planned and agreed by Central Scotland and South East Scotland Branches before Covid on land offered by the Scottish Lime Centre. Nineteen tons of sandstone is now on site for CSB members to build two walls, a straight and a curved one.  SES branch has contributed fieldstone which is likely to become a retaining wall.

Let’s hope we will soon be able to use this stone to build demonstration walls and features.
