Field Wall Repair at Burmieston Farm - 2nd & 3rd October, 2021

It was good to return to Burmieston after a long Covid imposed break and although the weather could have been better good progress was made. Over the course of the weekend 6 members + Ollie the owner worked under the supervision of Gregor.

A section of garden wall beside the farm track was completed and the group started work on a 3m stretch up to a large sycamore. This will be negotiated with a single thickness continuation and connect with wall beyond the tree.

There’s lots more to do and plenty of stone- much rather large . Ollie is keen to have us back next year.
