Training course at Blackruthven 10th-11th June

Blackruthven proved to the be most popular course of the year and could have been filled twice over. Perhaps it was the time of year with the hope of warmer days or perhaps the central location. Certainly the weather was up to the hoped for standard and those who came enjoyed the weekend.

There were 8 trainees travelling from as far afield as Sevenoaks in Kent to nearby Huntingtower. Instructor, Martin Tyler, led the trainees through the process of building a dry stone wall from start to finish. The photos tell the story of their day, including the curious visitors at the start and the final result.
