From professional wallers to video game developers, our committee members may come from a variety of backgrounds, but each member shares a singular passion for promoting and preserving the traditional craft of dry stone walling in Scotland.
Bob Pawson joined the branch after a training course at Cambo in April 2017 following a long held interest in walling. He has attended many of the events since and was elected to the committee at the 2018 AGM as branch secretary.
Dorothy joined the DSWA CSB in 2002 and has enjoyed working at a great variety of events since then as an amateur. With a passion for restoring old dykes, Dorothy regularly enjoys working alongside branch members at events. She was asked on to the Committee in 2014 as Minute Secretary and then as Treasurer in 2016.
Kate joined CSB in 1994 and has served on the committee for the last 14 years as member, Secretary, Treasurer and Chairwoman. Holds the Initial (Level 1) qualification .Currently as an ordinary committee member, she makes site visits, is contact person for events and helps make up the programme.
Ann joined CSB after a Beginners course at Huntingtower in 2004. A hobby waller, Ann most enjoys building/restoring plain farm dykes with stone of a manageable size. Since 2011 Ann has edited the CSB Gazette and is looking forward to seeing more information on-line in the future. Ann was elected on to the committee in 2015
